South Korea's oldest temple, located inside Jeongjoksanseong Fortress on Jeongjoksan Mountain in the southern part of Ganghwa-do, houses Korean treasures such as the Daeungjeon, the Yaksajeon, and the Buddhist Bell. On the grounds is the Jeongjoksan Mountain Library, where the Veritable Records of the Joseon Dynasty were kept.
